I visited this restaurant with recommendation from my friend. And was really surprised. In small quet street right away from Pilies there is very nice decorated restaurant. Staff was very attentive. The meniu excellent. I tried few dishes from Lithuanian ciusine in a twist, as they call it and i liked it. Thanks to the owner for good advices what to see in Vilnius.

Really delicious food, authentic atmosphere, soft background music, great service, staff incredibly helpful and chatty about the various items on the menu. I eat here often and always invite my foreign friends when they are visiting Vilnius. “Lithuanian cuisine in a twist” is a really good choice, no one’s ever been disappointed! Great selection of wines too. Highly recommend!

Spent one week in vilnius. This restaurant was the best, Very good food and atmosphere. Friendly service and good prices, the roasted beef with wine is probably the best i have tried being my favourite dish i try it in many different countries and this one is one level above. All good Things to say about this restaurant but there could be more choices for deserts. If you go to vilnius eat here !! Visited October 2013.

My husband and I just returned from our first (but, I hope, not our last!) meal at Holy Myko. The restaurant is just steps off of Pilius Street, the main street in “Old Town” Vilnius. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Every table is arranged with a different set of antique chairs; there are old fashioned candle-holders on each table (so nice to eat by real candlelight, instead of the LED versions!) and the wine racks are beautiful old wine caskets with wrought-iron “spiderwebs” across the front — difficult to describe but lovely to see. We each had an appetizer, main course and dessert and all were delicious. I had the Lithuanian “potato pie and boletas sauce” appetizer, which came with a whole roasted wild mushroom and was so yummy. My husband had the beetroot & goat cheese salad which was also great. I had another Lithuanian dish — pork with parsnip soufflé, beets, and baked apple, with a fascinating sauce that seemed to have aniseed and caraway seed in it — very good. My husband had the roasted breast of duck with sweet potato soufflé and various other sides — I was too busy with my dish to pay much attention to his, but he clearly enjoyed it very much. Desserts were also very nice — white and dark chocolate mousse for me, and strawberry-rhubarb “gazpacho” with goat cheese ice cream for him. My only slight complaint is that two of the desserts we were interested in — the baked apples and the cherry pie — would have taken 20 minutes to prepare. My one suggestion to improve an otherwise delightful meal would have been for the server to tell us at the beginning of the meal that these desserts would take a long time to prepare, so that we could pre-order them if we so wished. However, we were perfectly happy with what we got, so no harm done. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic meal; an outing with friends or family; or a business meal. I will definitely return and I hope more travelers find this great place. Visited September 2013.

I’ve had a pleasure dining here for the first time visiting Vilnius. We tried many different Lithuanian and European restaurants in Vilnius but Holy Mikos really changed our mind about Lithuanian cuisine. We got recommendations from our hotel about this cozy restaurant. First we were very impressed about friendly and attentive service. They have a great balance between being attentive and not annoying like some other places. The restaurant is well decorated, perfect place for a romantic place to have dinner. We ordered few dishes from their Lithuanian cuisine menu and some of the European. The food was incredible, very well seasoned and flavoured. Everything that we had was amazing. Overall we had an amazing and enjoyable evening in Holy Mikos.

Our Travel Editions guide recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Five of us chose to go there for dinner. The service was quick and the waitress friendly. There was a lovely ambiance. I chose a Lithuanian dish from the menu and was very pleased I had, delicious. The drinks ordered came quickly, the food was hot. Cannot find a fault.
